What is Stepping Stones?

Stepping Stones is a Christian, non-profit, overnight summer Bible camp for kids Grade 3 to 12. We strive to provide your children with an amazing camp experience, filled with great activities and adventures, teaching them more about God and His wonderful creation. In the end, we’re committed to excellence in safety, people, and programs.

We also guarantee lots of fun!

Our Objectives

To teach children and youth about God as He has revealed Himself through His Word, and to create an environment in which they can grow and develop in faith and obedience, through Bible study, prayer and song.

To develop in children and youth an appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation and a stewardly attitude concerning how that creation is to be enjoyed.

To provide opportunities for children and youth to enjoy new and challenging activities which promote responsible behaviour and the development of Christian life skills, which encourage healthy relationships with others.

To assist children and youth in becoming active members of their church communities.

To nurture the development of long-term, “big brother/big sister” relationships between young Christian adults and children and youth with special social, emotional and family needs.

To provide counselors and other staff members with opportunities for leadership development and for Christian service to others.

Why We Are . . .

Our mission is to serve God through our camp.

Our purpose is to teach children more about God and the Bible.

Our mandate is to provide children with an enjoyable and spiritual holiday in a rural setting, full of new and challenging activities which promote an active faith, responsible behaviour and the development of Christian life skills.

Stepping Stones Bible Camp - What a blessing!

The summer of 2011 was yet another fantastic year at Stepping Stones Bible Camp. Again, our maker was clearly at work amongst us and it was humling and exciting to see. Humbling to see God working through us (counselors and staff) even in our many weaknesses and exciting to see the fruits of that work. The summer of 2011 was also a first for Strums and Spinner who teamed up to lead chapel for a week, and, after thoroughly enjoying their time at camp, they thought they would share their experience and encourage others to join the cause.

Go ahead! Read the article and prayerfully consider how you can help out.
